Forza 3 is officially set to release on Tuesday, October 27th. I imagine this baby will be sold out pretty quick, so your best bet would be to show up at your local videogame store first thing in the morning. Maybe Wally world would have it, but they have a poor reputation in my mind of making sure things are in stock on time.
For crying out loud: when will games be on demand through Live on release date??? Sure there is already a plethora of games on demand to chose from, but the FUTURE is games on demand released simultaneously with the brick and mortar stores.
What are you most looking forward to in Forza 3? For me it is with out a doubt: REWIND!!! And if you don't know what this is, check out this video.
Forza 3, to date, is the first racer to have this feature! One of the biggest turn-offs to me in racing games is when you screw up a turn, or the AI makes you wipe out, and you have to RESTART the game! This is without a doubt the most frustrating experiencing in a racing game, in my opinion. I can imagine many complaining that this MAKES THE GAME TOO EASY. Sorry, some people equate frustration to enjoyment. These are masochists, and I am not one of them. I will rewind with pleasure.
